Seth M. Shapiro

Seth M. Shapiro received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a double-major in Philosophy and Economics and a minor in Business from Brandeis University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he focused on litigation, trial, and corporate and financial law. Mr. Shapiro also attended Oxford University, University of California Los Angeles, and University of Melbourne, where he studied the Theory of Persuasive Communication, Business Law, Philosophy, and other subjects.

Before joining Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., Mr. Shapiro ran his own law practice and worked at two prominent litigation law firms in Miami and New York City, where he handled high-profile, multibillion-dollar lawsuits on behalf of hedge funds and other clients against Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities, and global institutions in federal and state courts and arbitrations across the country. At these law firms, Mr. Shapiro won millions of dollars in settlements and precedent-setting rulings, never lost a dispositive motion, and handled the third-ever remote trial in the Southern District of New York. Before joining those firms, Mr. Shapiro worked at a global bank in securities sales and trading law and compliance.

Mr. Shapiro has extensive experience in various areas of complex commercial litigation, including antitrust, appeals, business torts, class actions and MDLs, consumer fraud, contract, cryptocurrency, employment, financial services, insurance, RICO, securities, shareholder rights, and trial. He also has significant experience in music and entertainment law, corporate governance, and business transactions for institutional and individual clients, including deals involving celebrities and NFT digital assets.
