Biography
Zelda Auslander Zarco serves as Director of Marketing and Special Projects for Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., bringing a broad background in marketing, finance, business, civic leadership, and community involvement, together with an international perspective shaped by living on three continents and extensive world travel.
Born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida, Zelda earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University, where she served as Student Body President and Student Senate President Pro Tempore. She later earned a Master of Arts with majors in Marketing and International Business from Webster University in Leiden, Netherlands, graduating with distinct academic honors.
Although Zelda began her professional career in commercial real estate, her experience has since encompassed marketing, insurance business development, event planning, property management, digital communications, and a diverse range of special projects.
During 24 years away from Miami, Zelda lived in four other states, as well as in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Singapore. She volunteered with educational, cultural, and community organizations and traveled extensively throughout more than 45 countries. Her experiences living in North America, Europe, and Asia have contributed to the broad perspective she brings to her professional and community activities.
While living in the Austin, Texas area, Zelda became deeply involved in the early development of the City of Bee Cave. Over approximately 13 years, she served multiple terms as an elected City Councilmember and Mayor Pro Tem, participating in establishing the foundation, governance, and growth of the rapidly developing community. Her role in helping shape Bee Cave during its formative years remains a particularly meaningful chapter of her civic service.
Zelda joined Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A. in 2015. As Director of Marketing and Special Projects, she works closely with Founder and Managing Partner Robert Zarco and firm leadership on a diverse range of initiatives. Her responsibilities include marketing strategy, brand development, digital marketing, website and content direction, social media, professional rankings and directories, advertising, events, sponsorships, hospitality, facilities and property management, insurance matters, and other special projects supporting the firm and its national presence.
In addition to her work with the firm, Zelda is a Florida licensed insurance agent in Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurance and is involved in business development for select high value personal and commercial clients.
Zelda is fluent in English and Spanish.
