Biography
Zelda Auslander Zarco was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida, a few years after her family emigrated from Cuba in the first wave to flee communism. After graduating from Florida State University and working several years in commercial real estate, she moved to North Carolina to join her spouse. Her husband’s work led them to live in Amsterdam, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and later raise a family in Austin, Texas, and Singapore. During her 24 years away from Miami, Zelda traveled extensively, raised two children, volunteered in schools and community organizations, and worked for 13 years to form and grow the City of Bee Cave, a bedroom community of Austin, Texas, as an elected Councilperson and Mayor Pro Tem.
Zelda returned to Miami in 2014 to reunite with family and decided to work with her brother and founding partner, Robert Zarco, in a multitude of roles. As Director of Marketing and Special Projects, Zelda brings a broad and diverse background with unique experiences and education to her work for the firm and Robert Zarco since 2015.
