Biography
Alaina Rodriguez is an attorney at Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., where she focuses her practice on commercial and franchise litigation.
Ms. Rodriguez graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bethune-Cookman University on a NCAA Division I athletic scholarship. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Engineering. Recognizing her passion for business and entrepreneurship, she earned her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Pepperdine University. She then went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law on a merit scholarship, where she earned her Juris Doctor and graduated Cum Laude.
While in law school, Ms. Rodriguez served as an Articles and Comments Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review and Treasurer for the Regulated Industries Legal Society. She was selected as a Deans Fellow for Professor Anthony Alfieri’s Civil Procedure course and participated in the Honorable Judge Bloom’s Judicial Intern Academy, where she presented oral argument before Judge Bloom. Ms. Rodriguez earned multiple Dean's Certificate of Achievement Awards and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, honors bestowed to the top performers in each course.
Prior to law school, Ms. Rodriguez taught A.P. Calculus at a prominent private school in Los Angeles, where she developed a keen ability to break down complex concepts and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences. She also founded and operated her own business while providing financial and operational management consulting to small business owners. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the challenges entrepreneurs face in building and sustaining their enterprises—from navigating operational complexities to managing financial pressures and making critical strategic decisions. This background uniquely positions Ms. Rodriguez to understand the real-world concerns of franchisees who have invested their capital and energy into building their businesses, and informs her approach to advocating for clients who are fighting to protect their investments and livelihoods.
Ms. Rodriguez began her legal career at Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A. in 2023 as a law clerk and continued with the firm throughout her time in law school. She became an associate in August 2025.
